After making a few rounds around Bukit Timah Interim Hawker Centre, I finally decided on the Hor Fun from Ah Hui Seafood White Bee Hoon, I couldn't resist after seeing the table next to me tucking into a plate that looked incredibly tempting.

I went with the smallest portion and was pleasantly surprised by the presence of wok hei that coveted smoky aroma in the Hor Fun. The dish was generously coated in a savoury, semi-starchy eggy sauce that clung to every strand of noodle. The ingredients were kept simple but satisfying: fresh fish slices, prawns, tender meat, and a good mix of vegetables rounded it out nicely.

While it may not be something to shout about, it still served as a comforting and decent meal to fill the stomach especially satisfying on a casual day at the hawker centre.
