Luke's Lobster

While the novelty and cravings for Lobster Roll have already been in the past, there was no queue seen in front of Luke's Lobster at the corner beside the escalator of Shaw House Isetan Scotts of Level 1. Luke's Lobster is quite popular and they pride themselves on using only traceable sustainable seafood. They buy directly from fishermen who fish in cold and clean waters.

Decorated in line with the shack environment with fisherman tools hanging on the faux wooden wall. What caught my attention was that smart automated wash basin that aids diners in cleaning and washing their hands before and after food. This machine is quite helpful during periods like this.

Start the meal with a hearty bowl of clam chowder. It is a very filling chowder that is filled with wild sea clams, clam juice, potato and heavy cream.  The potato cubes were soft and retained a nice bite while the clams are simply fresh and chewy.

All their rolls are made with quarter-pound chilled, wild-caught lobster. Lobsters were placed in a toasted split-top bun with a swipe of mayo, a drizzle of lemon butter and a dash of their secret seasoning.

The toasted split bun was crispy and warm. I love its butter with mayo and lemon butter fragrance.

A bite on the Lobster Roll

Though the Lobster Roll's trend had gradually slowed down, there is still demand for these rolls. The generous chunks of lobsters are reasonably priced.

All in all, I do not mind splurging once in a while for such delicious lobster rolls.
