Afuri Ramen has opened its 2nd outlet in Vivocity on 01 October 2020 with its first outlet in Funan Mall. It is located at the Basement of Vivocity

Similar to the outlet in Funan Mall, they adopt the open kitchen concept. We get a chance to enjoy the kitchen staff preparing the food.

Where's the Chashu

The staff took pride in their job, giving 100% attention on the tantalizing Charshu slices over the barbecue pit. Well, upon seeing this, my stomach kind of starting to groan. :)

If you enjoy dipping ramen into the cold sauce in separate bowls, you may want to order their Tsukemen. Dipped the thick bouncy noodles into the full-bodied dashi-based broth with sweet yuzu fragrance. There are two types to choose from, Yuzu and Spicy Tsukumen with no MSG included.

To celebrate Afuri's second outlet in Singapore, they have a limited-time menu. The Chili Soft Shell Crab Bun is a localised flavour. We love the pillowy soft bun that had the crispy softshell crab sandwiched in it with refreshing slices of cucumber.

While other flavours of the bun include the spicy chicken was not bad too.

Spicy Chicken Bun - $5.90

Kiwami Ramen is Afuri's Signature dish and an exclusive menu. It comes with Yuzu Shio base or yuzu shoyu base. The bowl of noodles was lavished with their top-notch ingredients. Kakuni, Chashu, sliced chicken and seaweed are served individually so as one can enjoy its original taste without mixing in the noodles.

You can also order their Gyoza. It comes with 6 pieces, served in a disc shape with all of them held together, a different presentation from what we have from other Japanese Eateryes. These gyozas are juicy and quite filling.
