Fried Carrot Cake(Lao Zhi Hao) - Bukit Timah Market and Food Centre

There are so many fried carrot cake stalls located in Bukit Timah market and food centre but I like Lao Zhi Hao in particular as I find that the standard of Fried Carrot Cake is the best among the stalls. Having white fried carrot cake as the one and one dish available from them, there are still alot of supporters patronizing their stall daily.

The cheapest plate of carrot cake come in $2 and you can enjoy the thick and traditional taste from this local delight. If you look closely, these carrot cakes are distinctively make up of 3 layers, with the bottom and top as egg and "cai po" (preserved turnip). The layer of carrot cake was thick and soft. even though portion may seem a little but it is definitely filling to the stomach.
