Most of the stalls were closed except the mixed vegetables rice stall and Goodview Zichar.

Once we were seated, we received the Zichar menu which was pretty extensive and colorful with dishes all printed, prices clearly stated on both front and back of the menu.
Menu |
The back of the menu was clear with different categories of food segregated by colors.

We ordered the basic dishes from its noodle category and they were not bad afterall. The fried vermicelli tasted slightly above my expectation. Though I would have prefer them to be served in darker brown with hints of lime juice, they were already good. Vermicelli was soft and moist with beansprouts added. Substantial amount of ingredients like sliced pork, carrots, eggs, fish cakes and prawns were added too. On a slight note, they did have the "Wok" taste with some burned marks on them. Totally the Zichar style that I'm looking for!
Fried Vermicelli - $4.50 (Small) |
While another noodle dish we ordered fare above average too. Ingredients on the cripsy noodle was similar to what I had in fried vermicelli. Looks like there was a "overdose" of vegetables added. The gravy was filled with "Wah Tan" (egg) and go well with the fried crispy noodle.
