Formosa Delights Handmade Noodles

It caught me by surprise upon seeing Formosa Delights in Food Republic. Leaving me with a pleasant impression of their noodles from their restaurant in West Coast Plaza  (Formosa Delights), there was no doubt on their food standard and we proceeded to try them out in Food Court.

Traditional Braised Meat Rice looked rather normal with handmade noodles with little gravy added with light braised boiled egg, crispy dry looking minced meat, vegetables as well as Cai Xin. Amount of gravy was rather limited which makes the dish a combination of both dry and wet version. Do not judge the book by its cover - even though the plate may look rather plain, I was totally blown away by the "melt in your mouth" cai xin. It was quite tasty if you have noodles with cai xin and minced meat altogether in a mouth.

Guo Tie was quite normal and nothing special although the thickness of their skin is thin and commendable.Ginger and black vinegar are of good pairing to the snacks.
