Launching on 28 August 2026, Yum Cha’s Mahjong Social Fridays will take place every Friday from 2pm to 6pm at its Chinatown flagship at 20 Trengganu Street. Held in the restaurant’s private room, the sessions welcome both experienced players and beginners, with participants able to register with friends or individually and be matched according to their experience level. Beginners can also pick up the game with guidance from Yum Cha’s staff. Best of all, there are no monetary stakes, making it a relaxed and social way to enjoy a traditional game with friends while soaking in the atmosphere at Yum Cha.
