Restoran Do Do Do

We had a stopover in Tangkak for breakfast before reaching Ipoh. Restoran Do Do Do is just located next to the North-South highway exit.

We were planning to have BKT (Bak Kut Teh) in Tangkak initially but the shop did not open at the designated hour and thus we had an impromptu stop for Beef Noodle here.

Preparation Counter

Looking at the menu, we wanted to order simple food for the breakfast.

We decided on the noodles page and there were a variety to choose from.

I had a conservative small bowl of Beef Kueh Teow Soup and was rather pleased to see the colour soup was dark in colour rather than plain. The soup was tasty and beef cubes were uniformly cut. No doubt that the size was indicated as small, but I still find the portion rather filling.

For the adventurous party, you may want to order the 3-in-1 bowl with beef, tripe and tendon. Similarly, you can opt for Kueh Teow, noodles or bee hoon for the noodles. Garnishing like spring onions and preserved vegetables can be found within the bowl.

The Kueh Teow is broader in width and the texture was smooth. This goes very well with the beef soup.

I like it best when the beef has no gamey taste and the soup was delightful. Environment-wise, it's spacious and clean, including the toilet.

Service is also friendly and ample parking spaces in front of the shop.

If there is a chance that I am on North-South Highway again, I would very much like to exit to Tangkak and have a try of their beef noodles or other dishes.
