Wen wen Pork Rib Big Prawn Mee is relatively new to Geylang Bahru Food Centre and I was there on her 2nd day of operation. Like alot of Pork Ribs Prawn Mee stall, they are selling pig innards like intestine as well ass pig tails. However, one special dish spotted on their menu is La La which was rather uncommon out of the usual menus.

A normal bowl of Prawn Mee would cost $3.50 and I had my bowl topped up with pork ribs at an additional cost of $1.50. Prawn stock was light and tasty, without a heady taste from the prawns. Ribs on the other hand was cooked to tender and easily fall off from its bones.

There is a special taste from its prawn stock which taste sweeter than the usual Hawkers' prawn Mee. The use of La La had given such a unique taste in its stock.

Fried shallot oil were used to enhanced the overall taste and fragrance here. Long queues were formed during my visit and it seemed like the response were not too bad.

As a La La lover, I do like their presence in a bowl of prawn mee, allowing such a unique and memorable taste. Perhaps, injecting a little stronger prawn taste would make the bowl of soup tastes better.
