Recently there were a few articles on the Macpherson Minced Meat Noodles that has reopened in Bukit Batok Industrial areas. This Minced Meat Noodles or rather we Singaporeans often term it as Bak Chor Mee (BCM) is a popular stall in Upper Serangoon Road and they have shifted to Marsiling before relocating in Bukit Batok.

The bowl of BCM comes with yummy braised slices of mushrooms, minced meat, fishcakes as well as pieces of livers. The noodles (Mee Pok) I had was tossed in chilli and pork lards, was springy. On the other hand, the soup was too peppery for me and not to my liking.

Besides the Minced Meat Noodles, the small bowl noodle is also one of the recommended orders by the stall owner. The noodles are separated from the soup and topped with a handful of pork lards as well as braised mushrooms.

The soup that comes with the set is different and was tastier instead of peppery. It has a naturally sweet taste from the minced meat, fishcake and egg.

Noodles were accompanied by this fried pork lards, do ensure the traditional flavours of what we expect in a bowl of Minced Meat Noodles is definitely in there.

Overall, comparing BCM to BCM, there are definitely better ones in Bukit Batok that are more to my liking.
