The Stones Hotel is a Marriot Autograph collection Hotel located in Kuta, Bali just over the Legian Beach. With just 20 minutes drive away from Denpasar Airport, I would say this luxurious hotel is a heaven and a good escape from the bustling city lives.

Location is perfect with about 10 minutes of walking distance away from the nearest mall, Beach Walk shopping centre and about 15 minutes away from Hard Rock Cafe.

Ever since the bombing issues happened more than a decade ago, securities in Bali is tighter. Any vehicle that goes in to the hotel are required to be checked by the authorities with sniffer dogs.

Further in to the round about area and nearing the hotel lobby, the second tier security check would be somewhere near the hotel lobby entrance whereby everyone has to go through the sensor gate and had their bags scanned thoroughly by the security machine with conveyor, leaving no stones unturned.

With the advancement in technology, no physical keys are required for most modern hotel nowadays. We were given access card to enter our allocated rooms and once it reaches the check out timing, the card will be void.

The Toilets are split into 2 areas, the shower room and one with the toilet bowl, whereas the wash basin is located at a common area.

Well furnished bedroom with long side table and wall mounted television. Just right at the end of the table there is another round table with business chair. Beds were comfy that I could sleep soundly throughout the night straight without disturbance.

The stunning view I had seen with pool bar tucked at the corner of the huge pool over the sunny weather was breathtaking.

And not forgetting the beautiful view at the little pool island with seats. I bet with all these settings, it does really make the holiday more relaxing and enjoyable.
