It marked another visit to the Japanese Fast Food Stall in West Coast. In the
last article, I had their Oyako Don which had left me a good impression on their Japanese Cuisine. This time round I went ahead to order their Pork Katsu Curry Don and was served by the lady who I assume is the stall owner. Just like the young lady who had served me previously, she was full of Japanese accent during the process of my order and end with a "Arigatou Gozamashita" which generally means Thank You.
A closer look at the stall, it mentioned that "All Items were cooked by Japanese" which had strongly emphasized that the cook is a Japanese.
The thinly coated battered on the pork katsu was crisply fried till golden brown and the meat was tender. Served in a leaf shape bowl, the overall presentation had scored with its generous filling of Sweet Japanese Curry with notable chunks of softened carrots and potatoes

Pork Katsu Curry Don - $6.50 |
Still, with such serving, $6.50 a plate is in fact reasonable considering ingredients used and its cost. Perhaps whenever I think of authentic Japanese Coffeeshop Food, Japanese Fast Food will come first in my mind.
