It's not common to find carrot cake that was made from the scratch nowadays and we happened to chance upon another stall. Seng huat Homemade Fried Carrot Cake is humbly located in Yuhua Village Market & Food Centre.

Unlike the factory made carrot cakes which are evenly cut into similar shapes and sizes, Seng Huat's was fried into irregular shapes and sizes with eggs. It comes with 2 version, the dark and white version and being just me, I will usually order the darker version. There were hints of "Chai Po" (preserved vegetables) and the whole plate was fragrant. What's good is that it was not too oily and price is definitely worth what we are paying for!
