Auntie Jessie Rojak

Rojak stall was manned by an elderly couple with the female handling the rojak mixture and the male taking orders from patrons. Accomodating the structures and theme of Vivocity's Food Republic, the stall is portrayed as rundown as the environment even though in reality it was not.

Auntie Jessie Rojak Stall appeared to be in a wooden car, just like the olden days how the food peddlers do their business.

We went ahead to order their traditional plate of Rojak and indeed they were ordinary. Common Rojak mixture includes beansprouts, "You Tiao" (fried fritters), turnips, toasted Tao Pok, cucumber and peanut garnishing over the sticky brown prawn paste.

Traditional Rojak - $3
There was not much to rave on such simple plate as there was nothing much in particular that will give the kind of "wow" factor.

Rojak, anyone?
All in all, though the plate of light snack was pretty average, I would say that service was seen awesome, with friendly and polite gesture from the service staff. Thus I guess I won't mind going back again for other kinds of rojak stated on their menu.
