Sheng Cheng

As I stepped into Bukit Timah & Food Centre, my mobile application popped up and notified me recommending that most of us will go for Sheng Cheng Fishball noodles as their breakfast.

Located among the stretch of stalls in Bukit Timah Market and Food Centre, Sheng Cheng is just like any other stall, nothing outstanding from their stall front. Perhaps what drew the most attention was the long queue lined up in front of their stall waiting for their food.

Order a bowl of Bak Chor Mee (Minced Meat Noodle) in dry version at a cost of $3. The amount of minced meat was generous spreaded on the bowl with fishballs, fishcakes, lettuce and mushrooms.

Soup was tasty and sweet packed with fried onion fragrance.

The presentation overall of the Minced meat noodle was attractive and appetizing. Manning the stall alone, its hard for him to keep up with the speed of the incoming queues. However, I will say the 20 minutes wait was still worth waiting for!
