While the rules of food Street don't allow patrons to buy food from one stall and seat far away, we quickly settle for another seat just right smack in front of the stall.
Tong Sui Kai |
While having our bowl of beef noodles from Cheong Kee, the intermittent fragrant of Char Kway Teow Smell flew towards us. We could not resist and ended up ordering a plate to try after spotting that the alluring smell comes from stall No.42.
The stall was manned by 3 pax, a woman and 2 younger guys. The woman will take and serve the order to customers while the guys will be the ones preparing the food.
What's cooking |
The plate of CKT was served in a transparent glass plate. Upon having the plate served right in front of us, the strong whiff of "wok hei" fragrant was addictive.
CKT - RM 7.50 |
The dark brown colour had coated each CKT uniformly and it was not too dry. Ingredients include generous use of egg, fat bean sprouts, chives and prawns. The flavours had utterly left me speechless for it beat any of our CKT back home hands down.
Ingredients |
Service was friendly and before we left, the stall lady even greet and thank us for coming. Compared back to our home, we hardly had such "treatment" from hawkers that warm our hearts.
