Love Fresh had taken over the family restaurant place,
Wish Bone for quite sometime and it was the first time I ever visited them. As compared to the previous eating place, it is no doubt I will miss our local delicacies and Ice Cream as Love Fresh only serves Japanese, Thai and Western Food.

We ordered some Thai Sides to share.Fried Lemon Grass mid Joint Wings were not too bad in its golden brown suits but the taste of marination was not adequate.

Fried Lemon Grass Mid Joint Wings - $6.90 |
Even though presentation was not too bad with salad greens tuck by the side, it would be more perfect if they can improve on the part on their marination.

Was looking forward to a light western meal and I had ordered the grilled Halibut fish that was served with sides like salad and 2 scoops of mashed potatoes. Pretty ordinary grilled fish that goes good with the hollandise sauce.

Grilled Halibut Fish - $9.90 |
Even with the use of lemon juice, there are still some fishy smell on the fish.

Portion of Katsu Don seems small, the curry was not too spicy and overall this dish still tasted alright.
|
Pork Loin Katsu Don - $8.90 |
The Ramen was more of instant noodle we felt. Pork had the frozen taste and soup was more of MSG. If not for a hungry stomach, one would have probably skip the dish.
|
Shoyu Ramen - $8.90 |
Green Curry was still passable with chicken and egg plant.

Overall food is pretty ordinary and still if there is a choice, I will still prefer the old eatery than this. It seems tough to be back again.
