What's the queue over at the corner of Pasir Panjang Food Centre? Well, its none other than the Jubilant Haianese Chicken Rice. By joining the wait, it took up almost half our lunch time (20 minutes). Let's check out whether it's worth our wait?

Jubilant Haianese Chicken Rice @ Pasir Panjang Food Centre |
It is rather common to practice self service in Hawker Centres and one good thing about it is that we often judge popularity of the stall by the length of the queue. The queue won't lie most of the time. :)
Condiments like chilli, black sauce and ginger puree were free flow. These are the mains if you want to give the delicious meal additional flavours. Although the chilli looks watery, the level of spiciness is powerful enough for some. The bowl of ginger looked good to me in its faint yellow color added with some spices.

Look at the succulent plate of poached chicken. It's actually half a chicken shared among four pax. If you are dining in group, it will be more economical to share a plate as an individual portion would cost $3. The chopped chicken is stacked on slices tomato and cucumbers and drenched with soy sauce and sesame oil. A good dab into the condiments would give additional punch in flavours.

Half Chicken - $11 |
Rice is fluffy, packed full of fragrance with hints of pandan. From its color, it does really tell us that it was more than the ordinary we had eaten from most other stalls. What's more, the portion was rather big, therefore enjoy the texture of these grains which was individually separated.

Rice - $0.50 Per bowl |
Last but not least, each of us was given a bowl of clear chicken broth sprinkled with spring onions.
