Hoon Chit Cooked Food (Closed)

When it was my turn in the queue, I told the auntie that I would like to have a bowl of Lor Mee and everyone started turning their heads to look at me. At that instance I thought I had said something wrongly. Before I could even react, the auntie told me that Fried Kway Teow is the only food available. Without much hesitation, I took the alternative to order a small plate of Fried Kway Teow since I'm already in queue.

I waited patiently by the side of the stall hearing the "clanging" noises made by the man who had his full attention in frying the Kway Teow.

The stall was spacious and airy with a fan constantly blowing away the smoke produced during frying.

Throw away the thought of sinful food for that moment and enjoy the plate of mouth watering Fried Kway Teow that was fried in the presence of fragrance pork lards. Also, not forgetting the blood cockles that was added to bring out the flavour of the dish. Altogether with the awesome portion of egg and sweet sauce that explained why it had drew the crowd during lunch time.

Fried Kway Teow - $2.50 (Small)

Craving for such slippery and savoury kway teow? Do head down and try if you can.
