Changi Village Carrot Cake

Tuck in the corner of Changi Village Hawker Centre, you will be able to see the one and only stall selling Carrot Cake and nothing else. It's quite easy to spot the stall as it is located just beside the bus interchange where commuters board the buses.

With the presence of the snaky queue, there is no doubt of their standard.

The first mouthful of the black carrot cake had indeed told me how Changi Village Carrot Cake stands up among the rest. In my opinion, to survive on serving only a dish, popularity should be there and since they have been there for many years, somehow the taste just won't go wrong.

I was swept by the presence of the eggs & black sauce together with the chopped garlic. Taste of chopped garlic was not too overpowering and strikes a right amount of sweet and saltiness among the cubes of soft black coated yummy carrot cakes.

If you want to take a break with a different taste from the usual Carrot Cake, Changi Village Carrot Cake should fit the bill!
