Enjoy the Hamachi Tartare, beautifully presented on a crisp sago cracker, layered with kimchi and topped with bursts of tobiko for added texture and flavour. It made for a visually striking and appetising start to the 8-course menu.

The second course featured their smoky prawn toast served with aioli and pickled red onion. During our previous visit for One Prawn & Co’s lunch menu, we had a similar prawn toast with smoky kombu, which was equally enjoyable in its own way.

Watching the chef grill over the Binchotan charcoal from the counter seats was therapeutic. We enjoyed seeing how each staff member’s duties were clearly delegated and well-organized as orders came in.

Not your usual octopus, topped on Assam Pedas and paired with crispy lotus root chips, adding a perfect crunch to the dish.

Though spicy, it wasn’t overpowering. The chilli, octopus, and lotus root create a wonderfully balanced combination.

I watched the making of this scorched Hor Fun and was impressed by how it was cooked over charcoal flames on a steel net. Served with seared scallops, juicy XO sauce, and Sichuan peanuts, absolutely delicious.

We decided to try the Carrot Cake from the set menu and had a laugh at its Mandarin translation. “Not Your Mom’s Carrot Cake” lived up to its name, crispy cubes in a delicious XO scramble, topped with poached prawns.

For dessert, the Lemongrass Ice Kachang is a refreshing treat layered with delicate osmanthus aiyu jelly, nutty kerisik crumbs, and a tangy drizzle of plum vinegar, creating a harmonious balance of floral, nutty, and fruity flavors.

The High Roller’s Fruit Tea made a return appearance from our last visit, reordering it again would have been a dead giveaway of just how much we love that drink.
Instead, we tried the Strawberry Nebula. Getting ready for lift-off. A rich, house-made strawberry compote forms the base of this cosmic soda, layered with mystical butterfly pea tea. Finished with a shimmer of edible “stardust,” it’s a drink that’s truly out of this world.

Catch your breath with our Dragon Breath Cooler, the ultimate thirst-quencher for a hot Singapore afternoon. Icy-cool cucumber and fresh mint are blended with vibrant red dragon fruit for a drink that’s pure, clean, liquid salvation.
The Coco Cloud is a dreamy escape in a glass. We start with naturally sweet Nam Hom coconut water from Thailand, topped with a fluffy, ethereal blue pea cloud cream. As light, refreshing, and soothing as it looks.

Though this was only our second visit in a short span, I’m impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. Each dish was meticulously prepared and beautifully plated, full of delightful surprises. I will definitely be coming back, whether for a special occasion or a casual gathering with friends.
