We visited this popular place among the locals. It was already bustling with people early in the morning and the staff was busy serving bowl after bowl of Fish noodles. The place was by the side of the road and for Singaporeans like us who hardly get a feel of such an environment, this gave us a different experience.
Open Kitchen |
No doubt that the place feels kampung and the hygiene was not compromised. Utensils were all soaked in hot water. Staff can be seen preparing our orders in their "open-concept" kitchen.
Food Preparation |
There are a few variations of Noodles to choose from, Mee, Mee Hoon, Kway Teow, Thin Mee and Mee Poh. Besides that, if you prefer to have your noodles served in sauce, you can order the dry version.
Fishball & Abalone Dried Thin Mee (Small) 鱼肉鲍片幼面干 - RM 10 |
The soup is delicious and I love the fact that the slices of fish tasted fresh and chunky with a good texture.
Fishball & Abalone Dried Kway Teow (Small) 鱼肉鲍片果条干 - RM 10 |
Kway Teow Soup lovers can choose to have their noodles served this way.
Fishball & Abalone Kway Teow Soup (Small) 鱼肉鲍片果条汤 - RM 10 |
One can taste the freshness from the ingredients,
