En Ramen

En Ramen is finally opened after a long wait. I have been wanting to visit their stall in the coffee shop when they were back in Toh Guan but I never had the chance.

The furnishings of the eating place was simple and down to earth with concrete cement flooring.

The Tonkotsu Broth was appetising and flavourful. At a relatively affordable price of $7.50, we got a bowl of En Original Ramen with Cha Shu, black fungus, spring onions and egg.

Topping up the $8.50 En Signature Ramen for an additional Bamboo shoot at $1.50. Similar to the En Original Ramen, it was served in a rich bowl of Tonkotsu pork broth and braised tender chashu slices. The stir-fried minced pork with their secret chilli paste, cut spring onion, black fungus and Ajitama egg makes up the bowl.

En Signature Ramen topped Bamboo Shoot - $10

Hot and spicy stored fried minced pork with their secret chilli sauce topped the Ramen Noodles. Ingredients like freshly cut spring onion, black fungus and homemade Ajitama egg were part of the dish. The broth is rich tonkatsu pork broth with some spiciness.

Chashu meat was tender.

The egg is runny and yummy. Nonethless, it can still be improved with more marinate.

The pumpkin croquette was breaded and crispy in its golden brown perfect colour. It was served in a plate of 3 and paired with its sauce.

Pumpkin fillings were soft, sweet and tasty.

Mashed Pumpkin

Overall, En Ramen servings are generous and priced reasonably. It is definitely of recommendation to others and worth a return trip there. Not only that, it tasted relatively better than the chained neighbourhood Ramen places.
