We all hear about the popular Handmade Noodle at Geylang Lorong 32 but recently, my friend shared that there is another Handmade Noodle stall at Lorong 23 that tastes great too. We visited the coffeeshop and had our meal there.

It took quite a while for noodles to be served. We waited quite a while for 3 bowls to be served.

Upon collecting our bowls, the portion was kind of disappointing and may not be enough for medium size eater. Comparing to the mainstream bowl of Handmade Noodle we had, mushrooms which usually aids in enhancing the fragrant might be missing out from the ingredients. However, to compromise the loss of mushroom, we had a dumpling as a replacement here. Other than this, minced meat, fried anchovies and vegetables made up the bowl of noodle.
Though Dry version is more expensive than the Soup version by 50 Cents, it will be recommended. Black sauce is light and noodles were springy with texture closer to La Mian.

Original Taste Ban Mian - $4 (Dry) |
The taste of Pork Belly Ban Mian is similar to Original Taste Ban Mian just that minced meat was converted into pork belly at $1 more.

Pork Belly Ban Mian - $5 (Dry) |
Soup tasted delighting with an egg included. Egg was kind of half boiled and you get to enjoy the generous amount of egg white in it. I believe that you have to enjoy half boil egg to like this.

For those who dont mind a tad spiciness, add their special chilli to your bowl and enjoy the meal.

Overall, personally I will prefer
L32 Handmade Noodle to Xin Ban Mian, perhaps its because that the former has a good reminiscent of my school days.
