The bright purple signboard had drawn me closer to the stall. It was its Kueh Pie Tee that caught me first but since its signboard had emphasized on its Springroll, we decided to give it a try, given a limited stomach space as we had our lunch earlier. At a closer look, I realised that Rojak and Tahu Goreng were also available.

Homemade Springroll and Springroll Skin

Since springroll skin was homemade, I had my expectations bench-marked at a level. No doubt that the skin was translucent and soft, the fillings was not too pleasing to me.

Turnip fillings lack the juiciness and flavours. The turnip fillings made up mostly of trunips with carrots and beansprouts, still lacking the taste. It was bland in taste with eggs and peanut chunk.

Poh Piah - $1.40
I would expect something wetter and sweet, with crunchy bites but this is of no fight to what I had in mind.

It's was disappointing but still I would not give them up since there are other selection that I could give a try.
