Stop by Klang Bak Kut Teh if you are keen on some herbal soup! Sharing the same stall area as the famous claypot rice in Malaysia Boleh., they are easily spotted in the other half of the "food court" area up by a few steps on the stairs.

Klang Bak Kut Teh Stall |
Besides the herbal infused pot of soup we had, a BKT meal is never complete without fried fritters aka "you tiao" as well as a bowl of rice. No! A plate of rice since there is no bowl available from their stall.

Bak Kut Teh - $6 |
The Bak Kut Teh soup was all well boiled in the earthen claypot with its based wrapped with aluminum foil. Never let your fingers or skin get in contact with the pot as it was real hot. To add on, one can still hear the sizzling noise from the boiling water when I had it placed on my table.
Though soup was not thick but it was all filled with herbal infusion. For those who dont take herbs, it may be strong for you. The after taste was a little bit bitter on the tongue.

Hot claypot Bak Kut Teh |
The you tiao was not cripsy and neither was it soggy. But it really goes well with the BKT.

You Tiao |
I'm not sure it met the Klang style, but if I was to choose the white over the black version of Bak Kut Teh, I will choose the latter. The taste was good but not to die for.
