The chicken rice stall is originally Melting Pot from Jurong Point Bagus Food Court but now is situated under the block 134 of Jurong Gateway room. The stall is easily recognizable as they are just right in front of the entrance in the food court which sells Halal Food.

Though the stall is manned by both chinese and malay, there is still slight difference in the wanton noodle I had ordered. Firstly to meet the Halal criteria, the Char Siew Meat of the dish was replaced by chicken. Secondly the wanton given was only the fried ones. Unlike the usual non-halal meal, we have best of both worlds, with the non fried in the soup and the fried ones on the plate or we get a choice to have it fried or non-fried. In this case, the meal was straight forward as no selection in involved.

The noodles were rather dry even though it had alot of black sauce at its base. Chicken Char Siew has lost it juiciness and no sweetness in the meat while the fried wanton was rather dry too.

Besides selling noodles, they do have some sides like carrot cake, either in black or the white version. Likewise, this portion did not look appetizing to me.

I guess Melting Pot is famous for its Roasted Chicken Rice. Though the above 2 did not really entice me, it will not stop me from returning to try their so called Signature Dish!
