Xiao Long Bao

If you are looking for some pocket saving XLB (Xiao Long Bao) for a meal without having to pay the exorbitant price in a normal chinese restaurant, this is definitely for you.

Though there were many delicious food to choose from the Old School Beauty World Roof Top Hawker Centre, these Baos are something that you cannot miss. Comes in a tray of 5 at a cost of $0.70 per Tang Bao

Though its translucent skin may not be done with the well known 18 folds, it was still delicate done with a pleat on its top. Most importantly, the kick of having the "Tang" (Stock) oozing out at high pressure once we sink out teeth in.

It wasnt the typical Suan La Tang I had though the typical ingredients like toufu, black fungus, bamboo shoots, chopped mushroom was used. The soup was packed full of Jin Zhen aka "Golden Needles" (Hemerocallis fulva, a kind daylilies used in vegetarian food) which was abit overdone even with the soury taste from the vinegar and the spiciness from the chilli.
