Ah Lim Jln Tua Kong

Jln Tua Kong's noodle is one of my comfort food during the weekends many years back. I used to visit the place where they are located in a coffeeshop whereby we have to wait for at least 30 minutes for a bowl of noodles.

We went to the smaller coffeeshop for a no queue and a quick fix for our breakfast.

Stall of Noodle

From what I had remembered, the chilli of Jln Tua Kong's noodle was what leads to the constant stream of patrons. I ordered the small portion at $4.50. Comparing the price and the portion, we would have expected more in quantity elsewhere. The noodles consist of ingredients such as minced pork, lean pork, fishball, fishcake and meatball accompanied by pork lard. The noodle was good as they do not clamp together.

Mee Pok - $4.50

Unlike the smaller portion, this larger portion is loaded not only with more ingredients but also prawns.

Mee Kia - $6.50 (Big)

I find that the taste was pretty normal and was more eager to tried the place I used to visit. If I do have more time to spare, I don't mind queuing up and get a taste of it.
