Gorilla Curry 猩猩咖喱 [Closed]

Gorilla Curry is located side by side to Changi Nasi Lemak 樟宜椰浆饭 sharing the same stall space in the coffeeshop. I have been to the stall a few times and due to incorrect timing of visit, I often went back disappointed as most of their rice were sold out but this time round, I managed to grab hold of a plate and I'm pretty happy about it.

My plate of Signature Double Delight Set was generously drenched with curry sauce. It comes with Premium Brazil Drumstick seasoned in the Signature Gorilla Curry and succulently braised pork marinated with their coveted recipe. It also comes with a few pieces of vegetables, fried egg and unsparing amount of chilli exactly the same from the Changi Nasi lemak Stall.

Signature Double Delight Set 鲁肉咖喱鸡腿饭 - $6

The Braised Pork was laudable as it delivers clear distinctive different layers of meat ~ the gelatinous skin, fatty meat and the leaner parts of the pork. It creates a medley of texture and was the bite was delightful, not to mentioned that the perfectly done braised sauce that consists of a sweet-savoury taste.

On the other hand, the Premium Brazil Drumstick was rather huge. No doubt that the chicken meat was cook to its tenderness, it lacked the taste of curry permeating the meat thus it tasted bland. Nevertheless, as an overall, the plate of Gorilla Curry Rice still score and has its substantial fan based for it was sold out quickly.
