Torn among the choices I had during lunch time as I chanced upon this coffee shop in Toh Guan Road. I was rather surprised that almost every stall had its own snaky queue line up accordingly right in front of the stalls.
Though Lai Xi did not have the shortest queue, I joined in as I was looking for something soupy to warm my stomach.

I'm quite pleased with the texture of the Yee Mee as it was cooked entirely and was soft surprisingly as I had many bad encounters whereby this kind of noodles when cooked, were often overlooked by the kitchen helper and usually left me with some hard bites on the noodles.
The bowl of noodle was nothing more than ordinary with fried Ikan Billis, vegetables, spring onions, minced pork and fried shallots included. A decent lunch to fill up the hungry stomach.
